ABOUT
Growing up in a theatre environment I have always had a keen eye for the events industry. At 16 years old I started a college course doing lighting and sound and started doing live gigs, festivals and corporate events. After learning the basics I have became a lampy at heart and wanting to extend my knowledge further.
Based in Derby/Nottingham I have been passionate about the industry for a long time. Working voluntarily at festivals and theatres I have gained significant experience in a variety of environments.
I first started helping backstage at Danceworks Unlimited danceshows then as my interest sparked I decided to look into the industry a bit more.
In 2021 I finished my GCSEs and moved on to Alevels where I did a Level 3 BTEC course studying live and technical events at Confetti in Nottingham.
Over this time I spent the 2 years gaining as much experience as possible by volounteering at Bloodstock festival as an assistant lighting tech and going on to work at the theatre I used to help run danceshows at all them years ago.
I am currently studying BSc Event Production at Nottingham Trent University (Confetti Campus.)
